Basic Display Formats

We use DFP Premium to serve our desktop/tablet web campaigns and Mobile optimized campaigns.

We cannot host video or expandable ads unless they are designed by TI-Media (UK) Ltd or are supplied via a third party javascript tag such as DFA, FLASHTALKING OR SIZMEK.

We can serve HTML5 tags as long as the creative are hosted on client side. The creative should load to display within 1 second and should make no more than 15 initial file requests. Please be aware that this is only for in page formats, and page skins/ triptychs need to be provide as raw assets.

Third Party tags that contain data collectors will not be accepted. nor are any tags that are used to record data from our sites.

We cannot serve Flash ads.

  • TI Media Limited (UK) Ltd only accepts JavaScript/standard format tags (no iframes)

Page skins should be provided as gutters 130px wide, either side of a central blank area, approximately the page width.

The page width varies from site to site, please measure and ensure that there is 10px padding on skins before supplying.

Gutters should be at least 900px tall. Any call to actions should be in the top 600px.

Skins are not visible on tablet or mobile devices.

Interscroller

Must be supplied via 3rd party rich media tags.

Video
Vertical or Square
6-10 seconds length

Safe Zones
125px at the top to accommodate for fixed navigation bar and mobile banner.
20px at the bottom to accommodate for the notice bar.

Please note: You must build your interscroller as a responsive unit that will account for all sizes given.

Native Advertising

Native Advertising is delivered with Sharethrough.

Promoted content will match the surrounding content.

We recommend an image of at least 1000px x 750px, which will be resized to fit the slot.

Please also provide a link to the content that you want to promote.

Desktop Triptych

A high impact ad format consisting of three horizontal elements that appear at various points on the host page.. As the user scrolls down the page the ad elements also scroll but at a slower rate hence creating the parallax effect. The middle slot can be a video as opposed to an image

  • On Marie Claire, Look and Ideal Home the safe area for branding and messaging is within the dimensions of 768×432 in the middle of the creative where the video is placed. Outside of this area branding may be cut off.

Video in Ads

  • Streaming (polite upto 200kb) video (or any data) permitted
  • Video must have clear close pause/play button
  • Auto play permitted but must start muted
  • Video length restriction 15 seconds; total polite streamed data (not hosted by TI Media Limited (UK)): 2.2mb max
  • Sound permitted must be user initiated with clear mute button
  • From Sep 2015, Chrome will pause auto-playing Flash ads by default
  • All creative is subject to publisher’s approval

Pre-roll Video Ad

  • Max file size = 2mb
  • Max length = 30 secs
  • Format = HTML5 tags or MP4.
  • Sound permitted
